Migrations 2003 to 2008
A relatively straight forward migration as Windows 2008 can be installed as an upgrade to windows 2003 without the requirement to rebuild the server. Bascom Technologies will carry out migrations over the weekend or at a time that suits your business needs.
NT to 2008
A complex migration as there is no upgrade path so new software is required. It is most likely that existing hardware will be past its performance making it an good time to upgrade the hardware at the same time.
Linux and Netware to Windows
Bascom Technologies can migrate from other operating systems to windows, this can reduce cost and provide a better supported platform for your business. We would recommend these migrations onto new hardware giving you the option to revert back to the old system when required.
